Robbie Brewster
Robbie is an illustrator/ author, living under a famous mountain in Wales. From the age of ten after watching Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Rear Window’, he knew exactly what he wanted and needed to do.
He wrote his first novel at fifteen titled ‘Summerland’ and went onto self-publish his first graphic novel ‘The Fight Between Light And Darkness’ in 2017, five years in the making.
Robbie was the last writer/ director of the prestigious ‘Screen Gems’ award. The largest European short film scheme and has spanned a career in film and television for thirty years.
He enjoys creating visual stories either as graphic novels, comics or films and is currently writing, designing and illustrating his sixth graphic novel called ‘The Spark That Killed The Dark’ and book two ‘The Dark That Killed The Spark’. His comic ‘Click Memory Brick’ was longlisted in ‘My First Graphic Novel’ 2023 and bagged him an agent.
Robbie graduated from Falmouth University with a master’s degree in illustration, proudly receiving a Distinction in early 2023.
He works traditionally with graphite, inks, watercolours and digitally with Photoshop.
His favourite thing in the world being the video games series ‘The Last Of Us’ and plays it whenever he finds the time…
